LadderShack provides the functionality needed to setup and run your own sports ladder over the internet. The ladder members submit the game results and LadderShack performs the calculations and keeps track of all the statistics.
As the Ladder Administrator you customize the ladder based on your needs. The Ladder Administrator specifically controls variables such as which members are allowed to play, how and what factors the rankings are calculated with, location, passwords, title, and even the colour scheme of the ladder! This is ideal for Squash, Tennis, or Badminton ladders where local groups in a community already get together to play games, but can be equally applicable for other sports including Foosball, Chess, Racquetball, Ping Pong, or Pool.

Ladder Administrator have the ability to fully configure their ladder for such things as:
- Ranking algorithm (how rankings are calculated)
- Individual user passwords
- Package options to suit your budget demands
- Ladder descriptions and location for easy discovery by members
- Color Scheme layout

- Remote game submission over the internet - members may submit their game results from work, home, or elsewhere
- Sorting of a wide variety of ladder members statistics
- View game results between any 2 members

- Each member has their own password
- Specific details on individual users (games played history, gender, users home page, description, etc...)
- LadderShack can be easily integrated into your existing ladder. For instance, you may control other aspects of the ladder and just point members to LadderShack for the actual ladder rankings.
- Members may only be removed at the discretion of the Ladder Administrator's.
- Flyer that can be printed and posted to find new members for your ladder (for instance at the racquet club where members already compete).
- Name the ladder
- Users may have links to their home pages for external additions

| What Are The "Ranking Algorithms"? |
The Ranking Algorithm is the method or formula used to calculate the rankings. Some of the ranking algorithms available on LadderShack are
- Negative Feedback formula: the higher you get the harder it is to pull away (give others a chance)
- Game Winner gains a point, Game Loser loses a point
- Game Winner gains average points (between Winner and Loser) plus 1
- Game Competitors swap positions (fun but dangerous for member at the top)
