The following are the rules for this LadderShack ladder
|
- All participants and Ladder Administrators must read and understand the Terms of Service
- Each ladder is configured by the Ladder Administrator. There are various ladder parameters, and one of these is the Ranked By parameter.
- The ranking algorithm of the players is chosen by the administrator during ladder creation. This ranking algorithm may not be changed through the lifetime of the ladder.
- The winner of a match records the game result. The winner is designated to submit the match results to ensure the match is actually entered.
- Any game entered incorrectly (incorrect score, incorrect oponent, etc...) should inform the Ladder Administrator who will determine the appropriate course of action.
- Should the ladder be setup as a Team Ladder then there may be more than one player representing each team name. For example, two players "Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras" in a doubles tennis ladder would represent one team named "U.S.A. Mens Team".
- It is left up to the Ladder Administrator to determine who can challenge who, under what circumstances, etc... However, the most common option here is to allow anyone to challenge anyone since the competitor in the lower ranking may also lose positioning. The Ladder Administrator may choose to set a limit on either the number of times 2 competitors may compete against each other during a specified time period - for instance not more than three times per week).
- The Ladder Administrator may specify the time period after which if the Challengee does not accept the match from the Challenger then the Challengee forfeits the match and the Challengee may submit the game. The Ladder Administrator should specify what happens during special circumstances such as if the Challengee is on vacation or unavailable.
- The Administrator of the ladder is the judge of any further discrepancies or problems.
